The Japanese Society of Ozone Medicine was newly launched in 2024, and now marks its 25th anniversary.

Thanks to your help, the first annual general meeting was successfully held in November of last year. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who cooperated with us.

Recent overseas papers have reported on systematic reviews of ozone, and in Poland, the effectiveness of introducing ozonated water, ozone gas, and ozonated oil into dental treatment has been suggested. In Brazil, it has been reported that ozone gas has an anti-inflammatory effect on stomatitis and significantly reduces the infection rate in implant treatment. In addition, in the United States, dental hygienists recommend periodontal disease treatment that combines ozone gas and ozonated oil into periodontal pockets. My research group has succeeded in controlling infection using ozonated water and ozonated glycerin.

Our society is currently working on a completely new concept of incorporating "free radical reactions caused by ozone" into dental treatment. We are currently working hard both mentally and physically on basic and clinical research.

Ozone holds new possibilities. We will deliver the best research results from our society to you.
